Year 11 Geography Field Trip

Well done to the year 11 Geography pupils who took part in the data collection visit to the River Ravensbourne.  In spite of some very changeable weather, all members of the group kept their spirits up and gathered some excellent primary data for their individual projects back at school.

This year the Geographers were focussing on channel cross section, velocity, sediment and river management along with their own independent investigations.  They visit four different sites along the river and managed to break records in being the quickest group to get their waders on & off, the only group to enjoy Miss Tappous’s coach karaoke and overall the group who took the longest time to complete the site visits - I am sure that this makes them the most thorough too.

Now it’s time to turn the data in to A* projects – go Team Geography!
