Year 11 PE Trip

The Year 11 PE group was in school bright and early this Monday morning to head off to Cornwall for a week of archery, climbing and orienteering as part of their controlled assessments.

UPDATE: Wednesday whizzed by with more climbing and archery.  The archery assessment ended with a modern day William Tell moment  -  an apple balanced on the target instead of a head!  Elliot managed to spear the apple completely.

We had proper Cornish pasties for lunch and curry for dinner. After dinner, it was time for the night walk along the clifftops and then the beach. The clouds cleared for long enough to see some stars and identify Orion's belt.  Year 11s busted out some moves and gave a rousing rendition of the Addeys song.
